To save space in the packaging, the wings of the owl are flat by default. To achieve the curved effect shown in the video and photos, you need to bend the wings hard (place the wings on your thighs and bend them hard).Refer to the last picture Don't worry - the wings will not break. This adjustment also ensures that when installing, the feathers will not touch the wall and cause the installation to fail. One happy camper. Beyond my expectations. The wings, torso, and branch lined up perfectly and it was easy to mount. That said, I would have liked the mounting to be a bit sturdier. We live on a crescent and I’m just xing my fingers that it doesn’t decide to fly away. Again, beyond my expectations….Wayne
